What type of projects do you take on?

 I usually work on B2B software, that's my forte. But I also have many B2C websites and apps in my portfolio. I specialise in UX research and design for branding, websites and apps.

What is the typical timeline for a project?

Usability Reports take less than a week. Full web designs take months. So it really depends long your piece of string is! The best way to find out is to have a quick call with me. No strings attached.

What metrics do you use to measure success?

The best metrics are customer happiness, positive reviews, task success, and engagement. The official metrics are Jakob Nielsen's Usability Heuristics, which I measure against in my Usability Reports. There are also Web Content Accessibility Guidelines sites should adhere to, and over 85% of websites still don't in 2024! That's why UX Reviews are vital. What if I need help after the project is complete?

I always make sure to help out my clients for up to 2 months after the project ends. That way, I'm there for you and I'm able to schedule in my next clients without interrupting them. For help after that, some clients love having me on retainer.

What is your hourly rate?

I charge £70 ($90) per hour for one-off jobs, which is reflective of my experience and specialised knowledge. If you've got a larger project in mind, you'll get a discounted rate with a fixed cost, to keep it transparent and clean. No hidden fees, just good hard work that gives you the best result.

How do you charge for projects ?

I quote a price upfront, so that you know exactly what you're paying for and there are no surprises later. You would pay a deposit so I can start, then you'd pay in manageable instalments throughout the project. The exact cost depends on your requirements, so let's chat if you'd like to discuss what I can do for you.

I work in Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), as I'm based the UK, but I work with clients around the globe. I'm able to help out at any hour in emergencies.

I have a solution-focused approach. Whether we're iterating on an existing product or building a new one from scratch, identifying and solving your users' problems is my priority.
